The idea?

To create collective poetry books with contributions from poets around the world.

There are three different versions of The Community Poetry Project that you can take part in and support.

The Journal Project: – To put it simply handmade leather journal is sent from contributor to contributor until it is full. The poems are then digitally scanned and hardback, paperback and eBook versions of the Journal are created. There is a small cost involved in taking part in The Journal Project to cover the cost of the journal and the postage over the duration of the project.

The Journal Free Project: – Contributors handwrite one of their poems onto a sheet of paper and mail it in to The Community Poetry Project. The poems are then digitally scanned and hardback, paperback and eBook versions of The Journal Free Project are created. Each contributor will have the option to buy a copy of the eBook for $1. There are no costs for submitting work to The Journal Free Project.

The eJournal Project: – Contributors email one of their poems to us for submission to the eJournal Project. The poems are presented to a panel of judges and those that are selected used to create hardback, paperback and eBook versions of The eJournal Project. Each contributor will have the option to buy a copy of the eBook for $1. There are no costs for submitting work to The eJournal Project.

**ALL SUBMITTED WORKS FOR ANY PROJECTS MUST BE YOUR OWN**

Any profits from sales of a particular project will be split between the contributors to that particular project or volume.
